Strategic Staffing Solutions, an IT and business services corporation based in downtown Detroit, promoted Vee Polite to VP of solutions. Polite will provide operational oversight for key accounts in S3’s customized solutions, one of its largest lines of business. Polite joined the company in 2013 as a consultant and most recently was engagement manager, leading various projects and teams for S3 customers. She previously worked for EDS as a program manager.

TalentNet, a human capital management software company that provides a direct-source platform for enterprise contingent workforce programs, added Phil Cooper to its senior leadership team as VP, global client strategy. Cooper is responsible for technology partnership management and new business development. He relocated to Jacksonville, Fla., from London, where he was VP of international operations for Allegis Group; before that, he spent 21 years with Allegis Global Solutions.

IT staffing provider MDI Group promoted Suzy Schmitt to executive director of HR/staff development, a new position created to help strategic alignment in the HR function. Schmitt will be responsible for handling all internal and external HR-related initiatives. She joined MDI in 2011 as a branch recruiter and most recently was manager of talent acquisition and development.

RPO provider Cielo promoted Adam Godson to senior VP of global technology solutions. Godson joined Cielo in 2011 and most recently spearheaded its high-volume RPO solution that helps companies handle hourly hiring.

Vector Talent Resources, a staffing solutions provider serving the Washington, DC, area, appointed Sue Butler as managing director of Vector Executive Search following its acquisition of her DC-based boutique executive search firm, CXO Resources Inc. Butler has more than 25 years of experience working with senior management at the corporate level as a consultative professional.
