People: Strategic Staffing Solutions, Aviation Personnel International, Korn Ferry and more

Strategic Staffing Solutions, an IT and business services corporation based in downtown Detroit, named Chris Byron as its new Charlotte, NC, branch market team leader. He will oversee accounts in S3’s energy and utility, financial services, and healthcare industry verticals. Byron most recently was director of MSP and strategic accounts, serving as program manager and lead strategist for one of S3’s largest MSP customers.

Aviation Personnel International announced President and CEO Sheryl Barden was appointed to the board of directors of the National Business Aviation Association. As vice chair of NBAA’s associate member advisory council, Barden is one of two associate members to serve on the NBAA board.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced David Pearson joined the firm as senior client partner, global account leader, technology. Pearson most recently was CEO and CFO at Aquatiq Global; he previously spent more than 20 years at Deloitte in a number of senior leadership roles.

Quick Leonard Kieffer, an executive search firm based in Chicago, promoted Courtney Lada to managing partner, the senior-most role within the firm. Lada will be responsible for business development, strategic planning, project management, and team member training and advancement.

JBK Associates International, a New Jersey-based executive search firm, hired Timothy Hayes as managing director, consumer and leadership services, to oversee its executive search business in the consumer sector and to head leadership consulting services. Hayes previously spent 15 years as president of North America for Bayer’s consumer healthcare division.

The EMAC Group, an executive search and recruitment training firm for the mortgage industry, announced Glo (Dominguez) Blue joined the company as a mortgage recruiter, national strategic account manager and recruitment coach. Blue’s expertise in the mortgage industry includes 24 years of senior-level recruitment and human resource management experience in retail, wholesale, correspondent lending and large banks.

Ireti Worker’s Compensation named Kimberly Daise as director of operations to spearhead its new expansion into temporary staffing services, which will target construction skilled labor in Florida. Daise has worked for the past four years in marketing and customer relations for Ireti.
