The Society for Human Resource Management, the US association for HR professionals, appointed Michael Aitken as senior VP for membership. He joined SHRM in 2003 and most recently was VP of government affairs. Before joining SHRM, Aitken was associate director for governmental and external relations at the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources for 14 years. Earlier, he worked on state public policy issues at Bonner & Associates, a public affairs firm in Washington, DC.

Visus Group President Tom Kosnik and Bingham Consulting President Amy Bingham formed a collaborative partnership to provide integrated programs to the staffing industry. Kosnik is a certified organizational development consultant; Bingham helps staffing firm owners and executives increase sales effectiveness and recruiting efficiency. The partnership has offices in Chicago and Orlando, Fla.

Jackson Healthcare, one of the largest US healthcare staffing firms, hired Anne Patton as VP of corporate marketing and communications. She most recently held similar leadership positions in the high-tech and enterprise software space, most recently at Verint Systems Inc. Prior to that, Patton worked in communications roles on the agency side with B2B and B2C brands.

IntePros Consulting, a staffing and services company based in Lexington, Mass., promoted Dan Hinckley to president. He joined the company in 1999 and most recently was executive VP and CFO. IntePros Consulting has five offices and more than 375 people working in 35-plus states in IT, financial services, quality regulatory compliance and project management.

Catapult Staffing, a national staffing and recruiting firm targeting the IT and engineering sectors, announced VP of Federal Services David Doyle on Nov. 5 opened a Catapult Federal Services office in Arlington, VA., to provide federal IT services.

Background-screening company HireRight appointed Todd Baxter as chief services officer. Prior to joining HireRight, Baxter led the services teams in North America at CVS Health as head of member services operations strategy and transformation.

Ferguson Partners, a provider of executive search and consulting, announced Jeffrey Hauswirth joined the firm as vice chairman, based in its Toronto office. He will be responsible for building the firm’s Canadian platform as well as its global footprint. Hauswirth previously spent 25 years at search firm Spencer Stuart.

Capitol Concierge, a global provider of concierge services, announced Misty Tieman, executive VP, development, and Dave Echeverria, talent acquisition manager, will lead its new division, The Rowe Agency, a talent solutions and executive search firm placing permanent, temporary and temp-to-hire staff.
