Professional staffing provider Robert Half International Inc. appointed Rob Hosking as executive director of the company's administrative and customer support practice group, leading operational strategy for nearly 300 practice locations worldwide. Hosking has spent more than two decades in leadership roles at Robert Half; in 2009, he was named executive director for the administrative and customer support practice group and later transitioned into the role of senior VP of professional talent solutions. Robert Half also promoted Ryan Sutton to executive director of its technology practice group. Since joining Robert Half 24 years ago, Sutton has held leadership roles including regional VP, national practice director and, most recently, district president for the technology and marketing and creative practice groups in New York City and New England.

Torc, a nearshore talent marketplace for remote software developers, expanded its executive team to include experts in the technology talent space. Chief Revenue Officer Patrick Griffin demonstrates the value of Torc’s network to enterprise customers; he previously served as VP, enterprise sales, at Catalant. VP of Talent Mark Bosma leads developer acquisitions with a focus on efficiency, performance and utilization metrics; he was previously with Toptal, MarketerHire and Braintrust.

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions promoted long-time leaders Steve Wright to chief operations officer and Jim Davis to chief revenue officer. Wright joined HWS in 2014 and led its staffing, recruiting and delivery organizations as senior VP of field operations and delivery. Davis joined HWS in 2013 and has led the development of the company’s MSP business while serving as senior VP of MSP and strategic accounts. HWS ranks No. 13 on SIA’s list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the US.

Employer-of-record provider Oyster expanded its executive leadership team, appointing Sam Schofield as the company’s first chief revenue officer and adding Leah Belsky to its board of directors. Schofield joins Oyster from education and digital transformation platform Udacity, where he held the same position. Belsky has spent 20 years building high-growth tech companies in the talent and education spaces and working in international development at the World Bank; she currently serves as CRO at Coursera.

The Society for Human Resource Management announced Lars Minns joined its executive council, effective March 15. Minns has been with Mercedes-Benz North America since 2015 and is currently its chief HR officer, with responsibility for the US and Canada.

BrightStar Care, a home care and medical staffing franchise, promoted Teresa Celmer to chief marketing officer. Celmer had served as BrightStar Care's senior VP of marketing since 2019 and will now join its C-suite.

Office Beacon, a provider of remote staffing to businesses globally, added Super Bowl champions Walter Thurmond III and Najee Goode as directors of sales. Thurmond was in the NFL for six seasons, playing for the New York Giants, the Seattle Seahawks, with which he won Super Bowl XLVIII, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Over eight seasons in the NFL, Goode played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars; he was a member of the Eagles’ Super Bowl LII championship team.

Miriam Castano is the owner of Nextaff’s new commercial staffing agency location in Louisville, Kentucky, serving Louisville and the surrounding areas. The office will focus primarily on staffing and recruiting for manufacturing and commercial companies.
