Professional staffing provider Robert Half International Inc. (NYSE: RHI) promoted Alexandra Von Tiergarten and Tony Uyehara to district presidents. Von Tiergarten will lead Robert Half’s finance and accounting, healthcare, administrative, and contract and consulting practice groups throughout the greater Los Angeles area; she joined Robert Half in 2003 and has since held several leadership roles, most recently serving as senior regional VP for professional talent solutions in Los Angeles. Uyehara will lead operations for Robert Half's management resources practice group in Northern and Southern California, Arizona and Utah; In his nearly 20 years at Robert Half, he has also held several leadership positions.

Gifted Healthcare, a healthcare staffing provider based in New Orleans, appointed Dan Turner as chief operations officer, effective in January. Turner most recently was the COO for SThree, a global staffing firm focused on STEM skills. He began his staffing career at Kforce, where served for 13 years; in 2014, he joined Kelly's Outsourcing Division where he became the chief recruiting officer for a $1.2 billion science, education and technology division.

Healthcare staffing provider LeaderStat named James Ireland as chief operating officer. He has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare staffing and most recently was VP of domestic staffing and workforce solutions for a large staffing company. LeaderStat is headquartered in Powell, Ohio, with offices in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Charleston, South Carolina.

CPC Logistics promoted Daniel Most to chief operating officer. He joined CPC in 2014 as senior manager of fleet operations and later was named VP of operations and safety. Most currently, he oversees the company’s nationwide network of safety managers and supervisors and manages significant client relationships. CPC Logistics is a provider of truck driver and warehouse staffing.

Legal search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa announced Thomas Burke joined the firm as a managing director of candidate development with MLA Interim Legal Talent, based in Atlanta. Burke most recently was director of HR consulting and talent search for BurkeHR Partners LLC. He previously was senior VP of HR for The Adecco Group’s specialty staffing and consulting services division, where he led both HR and talent acquisition for North America. He also was director of HR and talent acquisition at Deloitte Consulting LP, supporting its global technology services practice.

Ellig Group, a global executive recruitment firm, appointed Lisa Buckingham as president. She previously served as chief people, place and brand officer for Lincoln Financial Group for more than a decade; she led human resources, corporate marketing, enterprise communications and corporate social responsibility as well as the foundation, facilities, aviation and corporate strategic real estate.

New York-based Access Capital Inc., an independent lender to staffing and other industries, added Raphael Torres of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as senior VP and head of business development. Torres has more than two decades of experience in asset-based lending. During his career at Wells Fargo, he headed the team responsible for providing financial solutions to the staffing, government contracting and transportation industries.

Executive search firm Calibre One announced Molly Robb will lead its new office location in Boston. Prior to Calibre One, Robb was a managing director with BioQuest, part of The Diversified Search Group; she also worked at Heidrick and Struggles and with Korn Ferry International. Robb has been added as partner specializing in the company’s healthcare and life sciences practice working closely with Christos Richards, who leads the practice from the West Coast.

London-headquartered Durlston Partners — a talent advisory firm specializing in technology, quantitative finance and data science — announced Peter Malone, co-head of US technology recruitment, will lead its new US office in New York City, the first in a series of planned openings globally. Before joining Durlston Partners, Malone was a principal technology consultant at financial recruitment agency Selby Jennings.
