Staffing and talent platform firm ShiftPixy Inc. (NASDAQ: PIXY) promoted Amanda Murphy to chief operating officer effective Jan. 1. Murphy has served as director of operations since January 2016 and on the board since April 2020.

Massey Henry, a Toronto-based executive search firm, named Elaine Lajeunesse as partner and head of its leadership practice and appointed Clio Straram to its advisory board. Lajeunesse previously served as chief risk officer at TD Insurance. Straram is currently head of indigenous banking at the Bank of Montreal and works closely with First Nation, Métis and Inuit governments and organizations. Straram is a member of Fond du Lac First Nation in Saskatchewan.
