People: Peoplenet, RiseSmart, ZRG, Insperity, Charles Sterling

Andy Zarkadas, formerly managing director at Guidant Group, was named as Peoplenet’s chief revenue officer. Zarkadas’ role at Guidant included leading its North American business unit. In addition, Peoplenet named Steve Taylor as chief operating officer. Taylor formerly served as CEO at Bond International Software and brings 20 years of experience in the staffing and recruiting technology industry. Peoplenet is an Atlanta-based timekeeping software firm. As the workforce ecosystem evolves there is more overlap between different areas.

RiseSmart, an outplacement firm acquired last year by Randstad Holding nv for $100 million, appointed Michael Gray as VP of products. He recently served as senior director of product management at Bold, Prior to that, he was recruiting solutions director at Healthcare Source and drove research and development initiatives for the product group with First Advantage. Earlier in his career, Gray held significant product leadership positions with Monster.com, BrassRing and Advanced Internet Recruitment Strategies.

Executive search firm ZRG Partners announced Sharon Stein has joined the firm as a managing director and a member of the firm’s financial services, private equity and consumer practices. For the past 10 years she has served as the founder and president of a boutique retained search firm. Stein will work in ZRG’s New York City office.

Professional employer organization Insperity Inc. (NYSE: NSP) promoted Jeremy Johnson to district manager of its new Indianapolis sales office, responsible for directing the company’s sales efforts throughout the region. Johnson joined Insperity in 2015 as a business performance advisor.

Charles Sterling Group LLC, a retained executive search firm for the financial services industry, announced Mike Fitzgerald joined its asset management practice as managing director and distribution practice leader. Prior to joining Charles Sterling Group, Fitzgerald spent six years as the head of intermediary distribution at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and more than 14 years with MFS Investment Management.
