Parker Staffing appointed Lisa Pierson as president. Pierson succeeds Debbie Crandall, who led the company for the past 20 years. Pierson has more than 25 years of experience in the staffing industry. She joins Parker Staffing from ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions where she was a VP of Tapfin’s global programs business. Prior to ManpowerGroup, Pierson served as president of Kimco Staffing Services. Parker Staffing is part of the Jackson Healthcare family of companies.

Executive search firm Lucas Group hired Heath Henson as chief people officer. Prior to Lucas Group, Henson served as VP of HR at Randstad NA where he helped shape human capital strategy. Henson has more than 20 years of experience in human resources at large, global firms.

Steve Dern was named VP of talent solutions for Evaluent Talent Solutions, a newly launched business line by Staffing the Universe. Dern has 25 years of experience in staffing, MSP, VMS and talent management. Evaluent’s focus is on providing MSP services for business between $10 million and $50 million and provides direct sourcing, payrolling and independent contractor compliance.

Michael Matherly joined nextSource to lead its strategic solutions group and its direct sourcing and SOW practice areas. Matherly transitioned to nextSource after it acquired his firm 1099 Certified and certain assets of Sourcing for Services and IC Precheck.

QPS Employment Group, a staffing firm based in Brookfield, Wisconsin, hired Kathryn Bernard as its corporate legal counsel. The position was vacated by Neil Wojtal, who recently retired from QPS. Bernard has over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry, most recently as executive VP and general counsel at Staffmark Holdings.

LandrumHR, a Pensacola, Florida-based staffing and PEO services provider, named Tom Deen as chief information officer. Before joining LandrumHR in February 2019, he was VP of global technology services at TSYS (now Global Payments) and in technology roles in senior leadership at Insight Direct and Synovus Financial.

Job.com, an online recruitment platform, appointed William Klehm III as COO effective Oct. 1. He most recently was the CEO/founding boarding member of National Housecheck, a roll-up network providing home inspections throughout the US. He also brings experience in the automotive, transportation and consumer industries at companies including Fallbrook Technologies.
