People: Oasis Outsourcing, Ampcus, Insperity and more

Professional employer organization Oasis Outsourcing promoted Kerrin Jesson to senior VP of operations and Barbara Drames to senior VP of benefits. Jesson is now responsible for all aspects of operations as they relate to clients including payroll, benefits, implementations and compliance; she joined the company in 1999 and most recently was VP of financial systems and strategy. Drames is now responsible for all aspects of benefits offerings including Oasis’ health and welfare programs and 401(k) plans; she has more than 20 years’ experience in the PEO industry, most recently as VP of benefits at Oasis.

Ampcus Inc, a Virginia-based firm providing technology and consulting services globally, appointed Donna Howell as senior VP of customer success. In this role, she will advance Ampcus’ services and solutions nationally and oversee strategic relationships with Ampcus customers. Howell most recently worked at Freddie Mac where she revamped IT, capital markets and shared services functions, and served as chief procurement officer and chief of staff to the CEO.

Professional employer organization Insperity Inc.’s (NYSE: NSP) board appointed Ellen Masterson as a new independent director. Since 2014, she has served as an independent director of Westwood Holdings Group, an investment management firm with more than $20 billion in assets under management, and Westwood Trust, a Texas state-chartered trust company. Masterson retired as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 2008.

Pedersen & Partners, an international executive search firm with offices in 52 countries, announced Keith Labbett joined its Toronto team as a client partner and the country manager for Canada. Labbett founded and managed a Toronto-based boutique firm early in his search career, and subsequently established and presided over a retained executive search firm for more than 10 years, serving as a partner with a top-six global executive search firm prior to joining Pedersen & Partners.

TalentRISE, a Chicago-based management consulting company focused on recruitment, announced Jose Martinez joined the firm as managing director. Martinez previously was VP and Chicago market leader at global management consulting firm North Highland.

Human cloud firm Care.com (NYSE: CRCM), which connects families to caregivers for children, seniors and pets, appointed George Bell to its board as lead independent director. Bell is board chair of Place IQ and a board member of several companies including John Wiley and Sons, Angie’s List, Coach Up, and the Association of College and University Educators.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Deborah “Dee” Wing, M.D. joined the firm as senior client partner in the academic health center practice. She most recently was the division director for maternal-fetal medicine at the University of California, Irvine, and the director of its subspecialty fellowship. Wing will be based in Korn Ferry’s Los Angeles office.

Queen Associates Inc., a Charlotte, NC-based technology consulting firm, appointed John O’Neill as VP of CyberSecure. He has more than 22 years’ experience in financial crime intelligence within the financial services sector, and led IBM’s Red Cell Team focused on combating money laundering, fraud, synthetic identities and cyber-related issues. O’Neill will be based in Baltimore.
