People: Morson, Alexander Mann Solutions, Accenture, Understanding Recruitment, Bowdoin, Skye

Morson Group, a UK-based engineering staffing provider with US operations, promoted Adrian Adair to group chief operating officer and David Lynchehaun to group sales director. Adair will also take a seat on Morson’s board. Adair and Lynchehaun together have more than 30 years of experience in the recruitment industry.

Alexander Mann Solutions appointed Paul Modley as director of talent acquisition and diversity and inclusion. Modley took up the role earlier this month. He had previously led talent strategies on client accounts such as Credit Suisse, Santander and Rolls Royce. Modley at one time served as head of recruitment for the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) appointed James “Jimmy” Etheredge as group chief executive-North America. Etheredge succeeds Julie Sweet, who will become the company’s CEO. Etheredge is presently senior managing director-US Southeast, a role that will now be filled by Martin “Marty” Rodgers.

Matthew Ferdenzi will lead Understanding Recruitment’s Boston office, the staffing firm’s first US office. Ferdenzi had developed a team of six consultants specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning in the UK. Massachusetts has more AI jobs per capita than all other US states except Washington, according to Understanding Recruitment.

Executive search firm The Bowdoin Group promoted Scott Aldsworth to president. Aldsworth had joined the firm in 2016 as chief revenue officer. In addition, Katelyn Marini was promoted to managing director from her pervious role as principal. Kara Barr was promoted to VP of delivery; Barr had joined the firm in December 2018 as head of recruiting. Lastly, Lindsey Potvin was promoted to VP of RPO services and team expansions; Potvin joined the firm in 2013.

Skye Recruitment Solutions named Tiffany Parotto as VP of marketing. Parotto bring 12 years of marketing experience to the Clearwater, Florida-based firm.
