People: Jackson Healthcare, Mastech, Koya, TalentLaunch and more

Jackson Healthcare, which ranks among the largest US healthcare staffing providers, appointed Jay Mitchell as general counsel. Mitchell will be responsible for all legal affairs for the organization, including support for the Jackson Healthcare operating companies. He succeeds Dennis Stockwell in the role; Stockwell joined the company in 2008 and retired at the end of last month. Mitchell most recently was senior counsel at King & Spalding in Atlanta; prior to that, he held positions that include chief compliance officer and chief legal officer for Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta, and senior attorney at HCA Healthcare in Nashville.

IT staffing provider Mastech Digital Inc. (NYSE MKT: MHH) appointed Paul Burton as the chief executive of Mastech InfoTrellis, charged with driving the growth of the company’s data and analytics business. Mastech in 2017 acquired the services division of InfoTrellis Inc., a Canada-based information management consulting and technology services company that provides project and consulting services in master data management, data integration and big data. Burton has more than 20 years of experience. He will report directly to Mastech Digital’s CEO Vivek Gupta.

Newburyport, Massachusetts-based Koya Leadership Partners, a retained executive search firm serving the nonprofit sector, hired Kara Teising as a VP, based in Nashville. She most recently was a partner at DHR International/Jobplex; prior to DHR/Jobplex, Teising was partner and leader of the nonprofit practice of ThinkingAhead Executive Search.

TalentLaunch, a network of independently operated staffing and recruitment firms, announced Doug Dandurand as president. He will be responsible for the overall strategy and growth of the network companies. Dandurand previously was president of Advantage Resourcing North America, a US-based division of Recruit Holdings. In addition, he was a partner and president - East region for EmployBridge.

All Star Recruiting, a provider of locum tenens and permanent healthcare staffing solutions, hired Anthony Szydlowski as the firm’s general counsel, VP. He will have complete oversight and management of the company’s legal matters. Szydlowski previously was general counsel to Phoenix Tower International LLC and Landmark Apartment Trust Inc.

Fortune Personnel Consultants, an executive recruitment franchisor headquartered in New York City, announced Pat and Jeff Davis are the new owners of FPC of Hampton Roads, which places technology and manufacturing executives nationwide. Gino Gonzalez founded the franchise location in 2008, and the Davis’ are long-term members of its recruiting team.

SourceAmerica, a Vienna, Virginia-based organization providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities via a nonprofit agency network, appointed Vincent “Vince” Loose as its new president and CEO, effective May 13. Loose will leave his current position as president and CEO of UniqueSource Products & Services, a Pennsylvania-based organization working with nonprofits that create employment opportunities for professionals with disabilities. He is also president/board chair for the State Use Program Association in Austin, Texas, which supports and promotes sustainable employment for professionals with disabilities. 

Nextaff, the franchised staffing agency division of Malone Workforce Solutions, announced Lisa Meyers will own and operate its new location in Jackson, Tennessee, which is the first location in the state. Meyers has 18 years of experience in the management field, including eight years working in the employment staffing industry. The office will serve the Jackson area and provide staffing solutions to businesses in all administrative, professional and healthcare trades along with some industrial trades.
