People: Heidrick, Sterling, Korn Ferry, Impellam and Xcentri

Executive search provider Heidrick & Struggles (NASD: HSII) appointed Corinna Christophorou as senior VP and chief marketing officer. Based in London, Christophorou has been working as VP for market development with Heidrick & Struggles in Europe and Africa, leading the firm’s business development, communications and marketing activities in the region for more than three years. Previously, she held senior leadership roles with global professional services.

Sterling Talent Solutions, a background screening and HR solutions company, appointed William (Billy) Greenblatt as CEO. Greenblatt is the founder of the company and has served as its chairman since 2014. He led the company from 1975 to 2014. In 2015, the merchant banking division of Goldman Sachs and affiliated investors acquired a majority interest in the company.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Mitul Modi joined the firm as senior client partner and chief commercial officer in the healthcare advisory practice. He joins Korn Ferry from a global talent firm at which he built and led a healthcare executive search practice across the Middle East. Stephen Fleet also joined firm as senior client partner and global account leader in the consumer practice; he joins Korn Ferry from Capgemini America Inc., where he served in various leadership capacities supporting the North America applications services business, most recently as VP. Modi is based in San Francisco and Fleet is based in Atlanta.

UK-based staffing and workforce solutions provider Impellam Group plc reported in a regulatory filing that Non-Executive Director Derek O'Neill intends to step down from the board, effective immediately. He was appointed to the board on the 2014 acquisition of Lorien Ltd. and now wishes to pursue other opportunities. Impellam’s global managed services brands include Bartech, Comensura, Guidant Group and others. The company’s specialist staffing divisions include Blue Arrow, Coresaff Services, Bartech, SRG, Tate and others.

Xcentri, a Charlotte, NC-based staffing and recruitment firm, added Mike Furia, Jamie Schild and Kim Wade as staffing managers and Zach Powers as business development manager. Xcentri provides temporary and direct hire services for accounting/finance, office and administrative support, call center/customer service, and non-clinical healthcare positions.
