People: Epitec, Fusion, Tandym Group, Medicus Healthcare, MeeDerby, ShiftPixy, Insight Global, Bullhorn, Raines, Cambria Consulting

Several workforce solutions ecosystem firms are announcing executive hires and promotions.

Epitec, a woman-owned staffing firm, appointed Rebecca Bray as president. Bray had previously served as chief sales officer. This move comes on the heels of a 2022 announcement that Josie Sheppard would take on the role of CEO following Jerry Sheppard’s 43 years of majority ownership. Epitec provides IT, engineering and professional staffing.

Fusion, which operates through its Fusion Medical Staffing, Fusion Market Place and Fusion Workforce Solutions, announced four executive promotions. Jenna Berg is now VP and general counsel. Berg originally joined Fusion in April 2022, bringing 15 years of legal experience. Calli Hite is now VP of communications and public relations. Hite originally joined Fusion in August 2022, bringing more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs and employee communications. Brittany Lidgett is now VP of compliance and quality assurance. Lidgett has spent the last three years scaling and improving compliance functions at Fusion. Ashleigh Reeker is now VP of project management. Reeker originally joined Fusion in May 2021 with 10 years of experience. These four vice presidents join Andy Bern, VP of operations.

Tandym Group, a New York-based staffing provider, announced several new hires. Bob Keegan has been appointed as senior VP of the company’s technology vertical, Tandym Tech. Keegan joins Tandym from IT staffing provider Mitchell Martin Inc., where he served as VP of cyber/cloud security. Keegan has more than 30 years of experience in IT staffing. Tandym also announced Lynda Parker has joined as executive VP of the company’s life sciences vertical, Tandym Life Sciences. Parker joins Tandym Group with more than 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and has held executive roles at service providers Iqvia and Syneos Health as well as leadership roles with manufacturers Eisai and Ipsen.

Medicus Healthcare Solutions, a locum tenens staffing company based in Windham, New Hampshire, promoted Heather Croke to chief people officer. Croke joined Medicus Healthcare in 2012 as a contracts manager and most recently served as its VP of HR, people and risk management. As chief people officer, Croke will provide strategic direction for human resources, learning and development, talent acquisition, internal communications and employee engagement.

Kim Whiteley was promoted Jan. 1 to senior VP at MeeDerby, where she manages the day-to-day operations. Whiteley has 17 years of experience with MeeDerby. In addition, MeeDerby promoted Jennifer Tucker to director; she will be managing a new division focused on recruiter, sales and branch manager search while also serving as an executive recruiter. Tucker has been with MeeDerby for 10 years. Kamille Chilcutt joined MeeDerby in November 2022 as a recruiter with 12 years of staffing industry experience. In addition, Anisha Fernandes relocated and joined MeeDerby as a recruiter on Jan. 1.

ShiftPixy Inc. (NASDAQ: PIXY) appointed Douglas Beck as CFO. A 30-year industry veteran, Beck most recently served as CFO and consultant at Beyond Air Inc., a clinical-stage medical device company. Prior to that, Beck heldleadership roles at JLM Couture, Relmada Therapeutics and iBio Inc.

Insight Global, one of the largest IT staffing firms in the US, opened an office in Waterloo, Ontario. Bridget Gore is the sales manager and office lead at the Waterloo office. The new office expands the company's presence in Canada to five cities, including locations in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.

Staffing software provider Bullhorn promoted Kelley Morse to chief people officer from senior VP of human resources. Morse joined Bullhorn in 2020 as VP of talent and business partnering. Prior to Bullhorn, Morse spent a decade working in human resources at high-growth start-ups, including ConcertAI and Flywire.

Ceylan Higgins has been appointed managing director of Raines’ London office. Higgins will co-lead the global software and technology practice with managing directors Duncan Finlayson, also based in London, and Rick Harris, based in Miami. Prior to Raines, Higgins was a partner at global executive search firm True Search. In addition, Raines announced Kiel Towns as managing director of its Washington, DC, office. Towns joined the company in 2020. Prior to his current role, Towns was senior VP of aerospace and defense. Also announced: Bryan Burg, managing director of Raines’ Chicago office, will now lead all North American industrial sector work for the firm. Managing Director Patrick Gray, who relocated to London last summer to open Raines’ London office, leads the global industrial sector practice. Also, Kristin Mann was named senior VP of Raines’ advisory practice in December. Prior to Raines, Mann was VP of leadership advisory at Bespoke Partners. Mann has also held leadership roles at Korn Ferry and YSC Consulting, a part of Accenture.

Cambria Consulting, a Boston-based division of executive search firm Spencer Stuart, named Jody Bradham as principal. Bradham joins Cambria with nearly two decades of industry experience. Prior to Cambria, Bradham served as the executive director of consulting services at TalentQuest.
