Adam Kidan is president of Empire Workforce Solutions, a new staffing firm headquartered in Huntington Beach, California, that focuses on industrial and clerical staffing. Kidan is the founder and former chairman of Chartwell Staffing Solutions. Other industry veterans joining Kidan at Empire include Kevin Case, senior VP, national expansion; Senior VP Patricia Hanks; Executive VP Tony Alanis; and Jamie Diaz, senior VP, operations.

Staffing provider C&A Industries Inc. hired Mike Morgan as CFO. Morgan previously was senior VP of finance at West Corp.; CFO at Streck and at DRM Inc.; and VP of finance with First Data. C&A is the parent company of staffing brands that include Aureus Group, Aureus Medical Group, AurStaff, Celebrity Staff and FocusOne Solutions.

Executive search firm Boyden named Roger Duguay, managing partner of its Montréal office, as the new leader of its cross-sector global CEO and board services practice, effective April 25. Boyden operates in more than 40 countries, and Duguay will continue as a managing partner and board member of Boyden Canada.

CHG Healthcare, the second-largest healthcare staffing firm in the US, promoted Kevin Ricklefs to chief culture officer. In this new position, he will lead CHG’s culture strategy and provide guidance and oversight of CHG's philanthropic efforts. Ricklefs joined CHG in 1999 as the leader of the benefits team and most recently was senior VP of talent management as well as president of CHG’s nonprofit organization, Making a Difference Foundation.

Search Solution Group, a recruitment firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC, promoted Eric Fehr to VP of operations from senior director of operations. While he maintains the responsibilities of his former positions, he now also works with the company’s president and divisional presidents to support the company’s three divisions: Search Solution Executive, Search Solution Group and Search Solution Staffing. The company also promoted Josh Mangum to senior director of corporate strategy; he joined the firm in 2016 as the director of strategy.

StaffBot, a human capital management firm, added Tessa Rasmussen as applications developer, responsible for developing, implementing and testing technology solutions. Rasmussen has more than 10 years of application development and business analysis experience in the healthcare and insurance industries; she most recently was in the staffing industry as application developer and business systems Analyst at SVS Group, the parent company of TotalMed, TotalMSP and AWI Technologies.

StevenDouglas, a national executive search firm headquartered near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, added Bradley Swisher to its leadership team as managing director of technology search; he will head the company’s new office in San Diego.
