The Delta Companies, one of the largest providers of healthcare staffing in the US, promoted Paul Estrada to executive VP of Delta Physician Placement. Estrada joined The Delta Companies in 2012 as director of marketing for DPP and most recently was its senior VP.

UK-based specialist engineering and technology recruiter Gattaca PLC appointed David Findley to the newly created position of executive VP of the US Group, where he will focus on building the American market for Gattaca, growing the team and client base out of its Texas offices. Findley most recently was senior VP at Randstad Engineering, responsible for sales, field operations and learning and development. He previously worked at MDI Group for 14 years, most recently as VP of sales.

Resources Connection Inc. (NASD: RECN) appointed President and CEO Kate Duchene to its board of directors, effective Jan. 18. She was named president and CEO in December 2016. Duchene joined the company in 1999, serving as chief legal officer, executive VP, human resources and secretary, since 2000. In 2012, she assumed leadership and financial responsibility for the company’s legal consulting business.

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions LLC (formerly Parallon Workforce Solutions) named Valerie Brown as ethics and compliance officer. She most recently was director of compliance at Unified Physician Management; before that, Brown was associate compliance officer for Promise Healthcare and worked for OmniComm Systems and Sheridan Healthcare. SIA ranks HealthTrust Workforce Solutions as the eighth-largest healthcare staffing firm in the US.

WorkHarmony Inc. named Patrick Grant as president of its new operating unit, A6 Staffing, a Tysons, Va.-based company providing staffing services for diverse communities, with an emphasis on those with disabilities and veterans. Grant, a business leader in the DC market for the past 10 years, will be responsible for the daily operations and customer experience at A6 Staffing. WorkHarmony is a holding company headquartered in the UK with an office in Haymarket, Va.

The Association of Executive Search Consultants announced the 2018 appointments to the AESC Council of the Americas, which consists of elected officers from AESC member executive search and leadership advisory firms from across the Americas region.

Quick Leonard Kieffer, an executive search firm based in Chicago, appointed Steven Derks as its new president and CEO. Derks was president and CEO of the Muscular Dystrophy Association from 2012 to 2017. Prior to MDA, Derks was CEO of the American Cancer Society – Illinois Division, and served on the ACS nationwide executive team. Earlier in his career, Derks was VP and a member of the executive cabinet of Advocate Health Care; prior to this, he was senior director of federal and state government relations for the Illinois Hospital Association and a governance consultant to hospital boards of directors.

Phoenix5 founder Dana Shaw-Arimoto has been named to the advisory team of ReBoot Accel, a career accelerator for women. Shaw-Arimoto is a talent ecosystem advisor and strategist, leadership coach and author. Phoenix5 advises both companies and individuals on creating the ideal workforce mix of nonemployee workers and disruptive technologies; and provides executive and leadership coaching. Shaw-Arimoto serves on the advisory boards of Shiftgig, LNQ and VNDLY.

Healthcare IT services and staffing provider MedSys Group named Joseph Glezman as client relationship executive. For the past 10 years, he has worked with healthcare clients in identifying opportunities for operational improvements and workflow redesign, PMO assessment, strategic staffing, software integration, data governance and applications utilization and training. MedSys is based in Plano, Texas.

HireRight a background screening company headquartered in Irvine, Calif., appointed Jurgen Leijdekker as CFO. Leijdekker joined HireRight a year ago as president and COO.
