People: DISYS, Diversified Search, Uber, Medix, PRG and more

IT staffing provider Digital Intelligence Systems LLC, or DISYS, in August added Rajiv Tandon to its executive leadership team as VP, head of global services. Before joining DISYS in August, Tandon was CEO of Kovid Analytics, an early stage company providing solutions through artificial intelligence.

Diversified Search announced Denielle Pemberton-Heard joined the Philadelphia-based executive search firm as its new general counsel and managing director, effective immediately. She will also serve as a senior advisor to STEMconnector, its professional services firm. Pemberton-Heard most recently was group counsel, programming and business affairs at the Public Broadcasting Service. She will be based in the firm’s Washington office.

Uber Technologies announced Rebecca Messina will join the human cloud/ride-sharing firm’s executive leadership team as global chief marketing officer, a new role within the company. Messina most recently was global CMO at Beam Suntory, a role she held since 2016. Prior to Beam Suntory, Messina spent 22 years at The Coca-Cola Co.

Medix added two strategic members to its Epic advisory and workforce solution practice, which it rebranded into the Alidade Group to further expand its healthcare IT services. Managing Partner Tony Catalano has 30 years’ experience in the industry with expertise building IT services organizations. Additionally, Eric Born, a founder of Medix’s Epic practice, will work to drive all business development activities. Medix is headquartered in Chicago and provides scientific, healthcare and IT staffing.

Precision Global Consulting, or PRG, announced VP of Business Development Gus Ide will lead the team at its new office in San Francisco. Ide previously worked as a steel trader in Dubai before joining PRG in 2016. PRG is a workforce management platform that employs workers on their client’s behalf.

Mestel & Co. — a national attorney placement firm and HCMC Legal Inc. company — added Amy Berenson Mallow Esq. as an executive director in its associates, counsel and partners group in Los Angeles; Mat Martin Esq. as an executive director in its associates, counsel and partners practice in Chicago; Jason Rindenau Esq. as a senior director in the associates, counsel and partners group in New York; and Randy Steinberg Esq. as a director in the associates and counsel group in Los Angeles.

HealthTechS3, a healthcare consulting and hospital management firm headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., hired Hudson Shelton as its new director of business development. He is tasked with expanding executive and interim recruiting placements within HTS3’ s executive recruiting division. Shelton has almost 10 years’ experience in various sales and account management positions with staff management and recruiting firms, most recently at Medix and Sheakley Pay Systems in Nashville.
