Direct Consulting Associates, the IT staffing and consulting sister company of Direct Recruiters Inc., added Thomas Clark as VP of operations. He will oversee the day-to-day operations and focus on strategic planning and goal-setting. Over the past two years, he worked with the military transition, military leadership excellence, and supply chain and logistics practice areas at Direct Recruiters. Clark is a former US Army Captain and Airborne Ranger.

Genuent, a Houston-based IT staffing subsidiary of the Willis Group, announced Tim Gunn and Stephen Nadalin joined the organization as managing directors in Dallas and Austin, Texas, respectively. Gunn will lead the sales and recruiting teams in Dallas, plus evaluate market expansion within the Southern region. He has twenty years’ experience in the IT services space, including market leadership roles with DISYS and Optomi. Nadalin will work with the brand in the Dallas market; he is also responsible for leading Genuent’s market expansion into Austin, including new client development and developing the sales and recruiting teams. Nadalin is a seasoned sales professional within the IT services space and was consistently recognized as a top performer in the Experis organization. 

Futurestep, a division of Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) providing recruitment process outsourcing and other services, named Sarah Taylor as managing consultant of its new practice dedicated to academic healthcare. The new practice will be a direct extension of Korn Ferry’s academic healthcare executive search practice, of which Taylor has been a core member for more than five years.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Henry Topping joined the firm as senior client partner in the consumer practice in Korn Ferry’s New York office. Topping most recently was a partner and global head of the media, entertainment and sports practice at a global recruiting firm.

Executive search and leadership advisory services firm Egon Zehnder announced Sarah Rome joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as a core member of its consumer and technology practices. Rome previously was VP of merchandising for Staples at the company’s headquarters in Boston.
