Executive search firm Allegis Partners, part of Allegis Group, announced Christine Sobhani joined the firm in New York as a managing director in the human resources practice. She has more than 20 years of recruiting experience and previously was VP of global client solutions at Korn/Ferry Futurestep. Prior to this, Sobhani was financial services practice director with Pontoon Solutions, a division of Adecco.

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, headquartered in Boston, announced Beacon Hill Legal Division Director Amanda Brandenburg will lead its new Beacon Hill Legal office in Nashville, which joined Beacon Hill Financial and Beacon Hill Technologies. It is the 12th Beacon Hill Legal location.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Marnie Smith joined the firm as senior client partner, industrial. She will be based out of the Calgary office. Smith joins the firm from Macquarie Group, where she spent the past 10 years in investment banking, most recently as managing director and head of Canadian energy.

The Bedford Consulting Group, a Canadian executive search and talent advisory firm, added John Marshall as partner, Western Canada. Based in a new Vancouver office, he will lead executive search and talent advisory services for clients of all industries in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Marshall has more than 20 years of experience as a human resources executive; he previously was VP, human resources for New Gold, and also held HR leadership roles with PMC-Sierra, Duke Energy, Westcoast Energy and NatWest Group.
