People: Airswift, GEE Group, MiddletonMurray, Boyden, Korn Ferry and more

Airswift, a staffing provider for the energy, process and infrastructure sectors, announced Isabel Pantoja Vazquez will lead a new delivery center in Rio de Janerio, Brazil; Rebecca Sonthalia will lead a new delivery center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Rafi Mahmudov will lead a new delivery center Baku, Azerbaijan. The sites will employ more than 30 new global client recruitment support staff for large-scale and expat hiring. Airswift ranks seventh on Staffing Industry Analysts list of largest engineering staffing firms in the US.

GEE Group Inc. (NYSE MKT: JOB), the Naperville, Ill.-based staffing provider, announced Deborah Santora-Tuohy, president of its commercial and Triad Staffing divisions, was appointed president of the board of directors of The Ohio Staffing and Search Association.

Hire an Esquire, an online staffing firm for the legal sector, announced Hi Leva joined the senior leadership team as chief revenue officer. Leva became an investor and advisor to the company in early 2016 and then joined the board of directors. He was most recently was VP of sales, marketing, business development and technology at Propel Financial Services, a boutique financial services and fintech firm.

MiddletonMurray, an apprenticeship placement provider headquartered in London, announced Stephen Middleton will lead San Francisco-based Middleton’s Inc., its first venture in the US.

Boyden, an executive search firm, named Robert Travis, managing partner of Boyden United States and Canada, as its new global industrial practice leader. Travis assumes the practice leadership from Armin Meier, managing partner of Boyden Switzerland, who led Boyden’s global industrial practice for six years. Travis previously served three terms as a Boyden global board member, and has more than 20 years of experience in leadership consulting.

Executive search firm Korn Ferry International Inc. (NYSE: KFY) announced Matt Dixon joined the firm as global head of salesforce effectiveness. He most recently spent 18 years at CEB (now Gartner Inc.), where he most recently served as group leader of the financial services, customer contact and customer experience practices. Dixon will be based in Korn Ferry’s Washington, DC, office.

Executive search firm Stanton Chase named Steve Caliger, a director with its San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices, as the North America regional practice leader for its technology industry practice group.

Allen Austin, a Houston-based executive search firm, selected Katherine Beal-Roblin to head its life sciences and healthcare practice. Beal-Roblin has more than 20 years of healthcare consulting experience and previously was a client partner with Kirby Bates Associates. She also previously founded her own retained healthcare executive search firm, United Chase Group.
