Akka and Modis, a global tech engineering company that is part of The Adecco Group, named Mike Small as head of Akkodis, North America. Akkodis will be the new name for the combined Akka and Modis; Adecco recently announced that it completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Akka. Small has more than 22 years of experience leading and developing dynamic teams. He most recently was CEO of the Americas for Sitel Group. Prior to that, Small held leadership positions at IBM, Capgemini and Hewlett Packard.

Mastech Digital Inc. (NYSEAMERICAN: MHH) appointed Ganeshan Venkateshwaran as CEO of Mastech InfoTrellis. Prior to joining Mastech Digital, Venkateshwaran held several executive leadership roles at Trianz and Wipro Technologies. As CEO, Venkateshwaran will lead the data and analytics services segment through its next phase of strategic growth and development.

SkillGigs Inc., an AI-based talent platform, appointed Bryan Groom as the division president, healthcare.  Groom has more than 23 years of experience in leading several sales and operations teams with a focus on VMS and MSP relationships for hospital and health systems nationwide.

The Goal Inc. named Breanne Dunn as president. Dunn has 19 years of experience and joined the company in 2014 as senior VP, federal client services. The Goal is part of Motion Recruitment Partners.

Enspira, an HR services, search and technology firm, appointed Dan Lee as CFO. With more than two decades of experience as an operator, investor and advisor across numerous industries, Lee has held leadership roles at several companies prior to joining Enspira, most recently as the managing partner at Mission 8.

Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASDAQ: HSII) announced that board member Laszlo Bock will not stand for re-election at its next annual meeting. Bock will continue to serve as a director of the company until the expiration of his term.

Aerotek announced that Scott Bicksler, lead health and safety manager at Aerotek, is the co-chairman of the American Staffing Association’s Employee Safety Committee. Bicksler has served as a member of the committee since its origin in 2013 and this will be his second consecutive term as committee co-chair.

Nextaff announced that Kurt Glaser is the owner and operator of its new office located in Hartford, Connecticut.
