The Adecco Group announced that Ralf Weissbeck will be appointed group chief information officer, reporting to Group CEO Alain Dehaze, effective from Jan. 1. Weissbeck joined The Adecco Group in February 2019 as chief technology officer. He succeeds existing CIO Rob James, who has decided to leave the role for personal health reasons; James will also leave the company’s executive committee but will take on the leadership of the global Adecco Foundation program, Win4Youth.

Staffing provider Aleron Inc. promoted Eric Brady to director of enterprise applications, with responsibility for planning and organizing activities critical to the company’s IT functioning. Brady previously served as senior technical product manager at Aleron. In addition, the company promoted Michael Hensley to director of global infrastructure and director of professional services at Lume Strategies, an Aleron company. Hensley is responsible for all aspects of network and systems engineering and, as director of professional services, leads the sales and engineering team.

StevenDouglas, an executive search firm headquartered near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, announced Director of Client Services Elana Burr will lead its new office in Bethesda, Maryland. In addition, Shawn Redwine will launch a finance and accounting search practice out of its existing Reston, Virginia, location.

Prestige Scientific, a global executive search firm in the life sciences industry and member of the Sanford Rose Associates network, named Butch Hawking as a director to lead its manufacturing executive search function. Hawking most recently served as managing director at retained executive search firm Kaye-Bassman International in Plano, Texas. 

AtWork Group, a national staffing franchise, announced Steve Ferraro is the owner and operator of its new office in Batavia, New York. The location will serve the communities of the greater Batavia area and Genesee County.
