The World Employment Confederation LatAm recently agreed on a new institutional structure, statutes and governance as it works to represent the staffing industry in Latin America, according to a post on the WEC website. WEC LatAm also recently announced its new board:

Jobandtalent, an online staffing platform, appointed Gonzalo Bergé as chief people and culture officer. Bergé started his career as a strategic consultant before specializing in people functions at high-growth companies such as Despegar, an online travel agency in Latin America, where he played an integral part in leading the company through an IPO, Jobandtalent reported. Most recently, Bergé held the position of chief people officer at PedidosYa, a subsidiary of Delivery Hero.

Optomi Professional Services named Mike Keogh as president of its US-based solutions brand, Provalus. Keogh most recently was president of the Americas division of a global IT company. Laura Chevalier, former president of Provalus, will broaden her reach across the entire Optomi Professional Services family of brands.

KellyOCG appointed Adelle Harrington as VP, EMEA, for KellyOCG managed service provider and adjacent workforce solutions, including statement of work, direct sourcing and consulting. Harrington will report to KellyOCG President Tammy Browning. She has more than 19 years of experience. Harrington most recently served as the global practice lead for KellyOCG Consulting. She joined Kelly in 2003.

GetMed Staffing named Sara Spanjer as chief operating officer. Spanjer has 15 years of healthcare staffing experience and a clinical background as a registered nurse. In 2021, she was named to SIA’s 40 Under 40 list.

AlliedUP, a worker-owned cooperative providing healthcare staffing based in Ontario, California, named Milissa Ales-Barnicoat as CEO. Ales-Barnicoat previously served as senior VP of enterprise solutions and sales at Onward Search, senior VP at Clarity Consultants and VP of sales and client engagement at CDI Corp. Her prior roles also include senior VP of international sales and account management at The Adecco Group.

Job.com named Jim Bradley as chief operating officer and Margaux Gillman as senior VP of people and culture. Bradley formerly served as chief administrative officer at Kelly Services. Gillman previously served as chief people officer at Gathered Foods.

Executive search firm Raines International announced Duncan Finlayson joined its London office as managing director. Prior to joining Raines, Finlayson spent five years with True Search’s London office where he assisted in building and scaling tis practice in the EMEA region.

Rachelle Bauer and Lori Eaton are the founders of Workforce Connections, a new staffing firm based in St. Louis. Combined, they have more than 40 years of experience.

Revature, which operates on the recruit-train-deploy model, announced Tom Barron, head of Revature Europe, is leading its expansion into the UK.
