People: ADP, DHI, Mlegal, Russell Reynolds and more

ADP (NASD: ADP) appointed Kathleen Winters as CFO, effective April 15, at which time Jan Siegmund will step down as CFO. Winters will report directly to CEO Carlos Rodriguez and lead the global finance organization. She has been CFO at MSCI Inc. since May 2016; she held increasingly senior financial roles at Honeywell International Inc. from 2002 to 2016, and began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in various roles from 1989 to 2001. Siegmund in June notified the company of his intention to step down from the CFO role. The Roseland, NJ-based firm provides payroll, PEO and other services.

DHI Group Inc. (NYSE: DHX), which operates Dice and other job boards, appointed Scipio “Max” Carnecchia and David Windley to its board of directors. John Barter, current chairman of the board, and Burton Goldfield, member of the audit committee, have decided not to stand for re-election at the company’s 2019 annual meeting in May; however, they will serve out the remainder of their terms until the meeting. The company also announced Brian “Skip” Schipper will become chairman at the annual meeting after Barter completes his term. Carnecchia has more than 20 years of experience leading enterprise software, SaaS and analytics firms; he is currently CEO and a board member at Mitek Systems, a software company specializing in digital identity verification and mobile capture. Windley, the former CHRO at Yahoo! and Fusion-io, is currently CEO of IQTalent Partners, a professional services firm focused on talent acquisition.

Jackson Healthcare, which ranks among the largest US healthcare staffing providers, promoted Robyn Smith to executive VP of human resources. She joined the company in 2011 and helped develop the company’s associate professional and well-being offerings and also introduced systems to automate and streamline key functions. In her newly expanded role, Smith will lead the entire corporate team focused on HR operations, talent acquisition, training and development, benefits, human capital management, and employment policies and procedures.

Mlegal, a national legal search firm, tapped Jane Sullivan Roberts, the wife of US Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, as a managing partner to establish its official presence in Washington, D.C. She previously was a longtime partner at Major, Lindsey & Africa, and is also an advisor to law firms on their hiring strategies in the nation’s capital. Mlegal also added Rob Delicate as a managing director in its New York office; he most recently was with Audrey Golden Associates in New York. Delicate joins Patty Morrissy, the managing director who launched Mlegal’s New York office three years ago.

Executive search firm Russell Reynolds Associates announced Eren Rosenfeld joined the firm as chief human capital officer. Based in New York, Rosenfeld leads the firm’s global talent strategy, new talent development and human resources functions. She most recently was the global head of talent development at BlackRock. 

Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. (NASD: HSII) announced Conrad Schmidt joined the executive search firm as the new head of HLabs, its enterprise-wide R&D and product development group. HLabs uses the firm’s data and experience to deliver insights on candidates, leadership and organizational effectiveness to its clients, in addition to using those insights to develop new tools and methodologies for its executive search and Heidrick Consulting businesses. Schmidt spent nearly 20 years at CEB Inc. (now Gartner), where he created CEB’s first R&D group.

The National Native American Human Resources Association engaged Tal Moore as its director of development to oversee numerous projects for the association and promote and lead its new advisory council. NNAHRA is a nonprofit organization for human resources professionals and tribal leaders in Indian Country Human Resources and Organizational Development through educational events, networking and professional certification.

Signal Partners, a nationwide search firm targeting private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, announced Kit Cooper will lead its new outsourced services practice. He has spent the last 15 years working with private equity sponsors to build companies, both as a founder and CEO and as an executive search professional.

Bullhorn, a supplier of software to staffing firms, promoted Ryan Murphy to executive VP of enterprise and Salesforce. He will lead the enterprise strategy and go-to market for both Bullhorn and Bullhorn for Salesforce. Over the past 13 years, Murphy has exclusively focused on enterprise staffing buyers and expanding Bullhorn’s enterprise strategy.
