PRO Unlimited, an MSP and VMS provider, announced today it struck a deal to acquire Workforce Logiq, a provider of VMS, MSP, RPO and direct sourcing based in Orlando, Florida, from private equity firm Carlyle.

Today’s deal is still subject to customary regulatory approvals. It is expected to close in the latter part of the current quarter.

“Bringing Workforce Logiq into the PRO Unlimited family will allow us to extend our reach and synthesize two like-minded entities that share the same strategy and platform approach to contingent workforce management,” PRO Unlimited CEO Kevin Akeroyd said.

The deal will also expand PRO Unlimited’s global reach. It noted Workforce Logiq’s strong presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa — specifically the Nordic countries.

“We are thankful for the leadership of Carlyle these past four years, and grateful for their counsel and strategic investments that have fundamentally transformed our company,” Workforce Logiq CEO Jim Burke said. “We continue our transformation journey with PRO.”

Private equity firm Carlyle acquired Workforce Logiq in 2017 when the company was still operating under the name ZeroChaos. The name change took place in 2019.

PRO Unlimited itself announced a deal earlier this year to be acquired by private equity firm EQT.

Earlier this year,  PRO Unlimited announced other acquisitions as well; they included PeopleTicker in January and Dutch MSP Brainnet Group in February.
