PRO Unlimited on Tuesday announced it acquired PeopleTicker, a Delray Beach, Florida-based firm that provides data on pay rates, markups and bill rates on contingent workers. PeopleTicker covers 17 industries in 160 countries.

“PRO Unlimited was the clear choice when searching for an organization to deliver our technology to the world,” said PeopleTicker CEO and President Joseph Musacchio. “We couldn’t be more pleased about the opportunity to have PRO bring our vision to light.”

Based in San Francisco, PRO Unlimited supplies managed service provider services and a vendor management system as well as payrolling and independent contractor compliance.

“This acquisition strengthens our comprehensive data, software and services platform while delivering the innovation that the industry has been waiting for,” PRO Unlimited CEO Kevin Akeroyd said.

Akeroyd took over as CEO of PRO Unlimited last July.

The PeopleTicker acquisition follows PRO Unlimited’s announcement of its RatePoint software-as-a-service offering, which aims to provide rate and hiring intelligence for white-collar contingent positions.

Combined with PeopleTicker, RatePoint will enable organizations to more quickly source and accurately price contingent labor, according to the company.
