The Canadian province of Ontario’s labor ministry is investigating 17 temporary recruitment agencies after health officials warned that agencies moving workers among different farms could be contributing to Covid-19 outbreaks, Reuters reported. Canadian farms rely on some 60,000 people who come to Canada annually on temporary work permits, but some also use temp agencies that employ locals.
