Online staffing platform Fiverr acquires firm that lets freelancers manage invoices, expenses

January 24, 2018

Online staffing provider Fiverr acquired freelance services platform AND CO, a platform for freelancers to manage invoices, income and expenses. The transaction expands Fiverr’s portfolio and further positions the company as both a digital marketplace and as a platform of services for offline freelance work.

The two brands will collaborate extensively but remain separate in the near-term, and AND CO’s executives will stay with the company.

AND CO ‘s suite of services includes time tracking, invoicing, payments, contract creation, task management and income and expense tracking. The company was founded in 2015 in New York City by Leif Abraham and Martin Strutz and has more than 60,000 subscribers globally.

Fiverr is a marketplace for creative and digital services including graphic design, copywriting, voice overs, and music and film editing. Its freelancers have completed more than 40 million gigs from more than 100 service categories across 190 countries.
