Online platform ExecThread lets execs share job leads; raises $6.5 million

September 18, 2017

ExecThread Inc., a New York-based network platform that lets execs share job leads, announced $6.5 million in equity financing.

ExecThread allows executives to anonymously contribute job opportunities they get approached for but don’t intend to pursue. In return for sharing jobs, members gain access to job opportunities contributed by other executives. ExecThread also connects executive recruiters and hiring managers with vetted candidates.

Venture capital investors Canaan Partners and Javelin Venture Partners led the financing round, with participation from Corazon Capital, CoVenture, NextView Ventures and angel investors.

As part of the investment, Javelin Managing Director Jed Katz and Canaan General Partner Warren Lee joined ExecThread’s founder and CEO Joe Meyer on the company’s board of directors.
