Professional employer organization Oasis Outsourcing acquired Aureon HR, a Midwest-based PEO service provider and a subsidiary of Aureon. 

“In addition to significantly expanding our national client base, Aureon HR brings Oasis best-in-class HR expertise in the senior living industry, and yet another talented, experienced group of associates, who will make important contributions to our overall ongoing expansion and growth,” Oasis Outsourcing President and CEO Mark Perlberg said.

Aureon HR will continue to operate from its current locations in West Des Moines, Iowa, and Denver with its current team of associates. The combined company will now count more than 8,000 clients and 270,000 worksite employees nationwide.

The transaction closed July 13; terms were not disclosed. Aureon HR, which has 200 internal employees, will transition to the Oasis name over the next several months. The management team and employees will remain with the company. 

The Aureon HR acquisition is Oasis’ sixth since Stone Point Capital acquired the PEO in 2014; private equity firm Kelso & Co. purchased a “significant” interest in the company last year, but Stone Point Capital remains the majority owner of the company, with the remainder owned by Oasis management.

Most recently, Oasis Outsourcing acquired Staff One HR, a Dallas-based firm that provides human resources and related PEO services.
