NextGen Information Services names president

NextGen Information Services Inc., a national staffing and consulting firm, named Lori Eaton president of the firm, effective immediately. Headquartered in St. Louis, NextGen provides IT and professional staffing and recruiting.

Eaton took over the president role from company founder Carmen Jacob, who will continue to serve as CEO and chairman. Eaton’s new responsibilities include developing international strategic initiatives and expanding the firm’s global interests with the expansion of the company’s services, programs and capabilities.

NextGen launched in 1997 and Eaton joined the firm in March 2000 as a recruiter. She has served as NextGen’s VP since 2010 and has more than 20 years of industry experience.

“Lori has a proven track record for increasing NextGen’s depth and capabilities,” Jacob said. “She is a strategic thinker, and a dynamic leader who in her new role, can help catalyze NextGen in becoming a global industry powerhouse.”

NextGen counts more than 300 billable contractors and $75 million in annual revenue.
