A bill regulating the use of artificial intelligence in New York State over the employment decision-making process and in employee monitoring was introduced in the New York Senate on Aug. 4, according to a post in The National Law Review by law firm Proskauer Rose LLP. The regulations are broader than those imposed by New York City on automated employment decisions tools, which took effect on July 5.
