Nelson Connects, a Sonoma, California-based staffing firm, appointed Jeff Phelps as CEO. 

Phelps co-founded iWorkGlobal, a provider of employer-of-record, independent contractor compliance and agent-of-record services. iWorkGlobal had revenue of more than $150 million before being acquired in 2021 by employer-of-record services provider Velocity Global. 

In addition, Phelps is a longtime colleague and business adviser to the Nelson Family of Cos.
