Brightfield Strategies, a human capital strategies consultancy and data services provider, received a strategic investment from staffing industry veteran Gary Nelson, who founded Nelson Staffing, WorkforceLogic and iWorkGlobal.

The investment was made May 6 through a private placement; the amount was not disclosed.

Brightfield Strategies will use the investment to accelerate the rollout of its data aggregation and analytics platform, the Talent Data Exchange (TDX).

Brightfield Strategies is a partner with Staffing Industry Analysts and consults with Fortune 500 companies on contingent workforce strategy initiatives.
