NTT Data Corp., a Tokyo-based IT services firm with operations in the US, reported net sales rose 11.4% in the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2021. Gross margin improved. NTT Data noted an increase in new orders and expansion of its international business.
The company’s US operations rank on SIA’s list of largest IT staffing firms.

Guidance
NTT Data forecast full-year net sales will rise 9.5% compared to the previous year. It’s an upgrade from a previous forecast. The company cited strong orders and a solid recovery as contributing to the increased guidance.
Net sales in North America are expected to increase by 8.3% in the fiscal year to ¥465 billion (US$4.04 billion).
Share price and market cap
NTT Data’s shares closed up 0.8% today in Tokyo to ¥2,256 (US$19.58); they were 12.46% below their 52-week high, according to FT. com. The company had a market cap of ¥3.14 trillion (US$27.25 billion).
