NSC Technologies LLC acquired Superior Resource Group Inc., a Green Bay, Wis.-based firm that provides contract engineering services, including skilled trades staffing and direct placements. The deal took effect June 30; financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Superior Resource Group brand name will remain. The company will continue to operate as a standalone entity and a wholly owned subsidiary of NSC, which plans to invest in marketing and business development initiatives to grow the company.

NSC, headquartered in Portsmouth, Va., provides staffing and workforce management solutions to industries including defense, marine, energy and industrial markets.

Private equity investment firm White Wolf Capital LLC recapitalized NSC — in partnership with NSC’s management team — in November 2016.
