NSC Technologies acquired Shipyard Staffing, a marine staffing firm based in Norfolk, Virginia. Terms of the transaction were not announced.

“The acquisition of Shipyard Staffing reinforces NSC’s commitment to growth and our determination to lead the marine and skilled trades staffing industries,” John Gulnac, CEO of NSC, said in a press statement. “We are extremely encouraged by the synergies this partnership creates and look forward to amplifying results on the NSC platform.”

Shipyard Staffing serves the shipyard and marine infrastructure industry, according to the press announcement. It provides skilled and unskilled professionals for both commercial and government clients.

NSC is a portfolio company of Miami-based private equity firm White Wolf Capital Group. NSC is headquartered in Portsmouth, Virginia, and provides staffing solutions to the global marine, energy, commercial and industrial marketplace.
