NLRB rules Obama-era standard should not have been used in Browning-Ferris case (Bloomberg)

A joint-employment case involving contingent workers that prompted a new legal test has been decided by the National Labor Relations Board, Bloomberg reported. The all-Republican NLRB ruled an Obama-era standard for determining joint employment should not have been used in the Browning-Ferris Industries case that involved contingent workers at a recycling site in Milpitas, California. The Obama-era rule was reversed earlier this year.
