A regional director of the National Labor Relations Board on Friday ruled that Google is a “joint employer” of a group of 60 Texas-based YouTube workers employed through Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp, according to a report by Bloomberg included on Mint. As a result, Google must collectively bargain with the workers if they vote to unionize.
