The National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations announced that the first-ever National Locum Tenens Week will be this year on Aug. 14 to 18. It’s designed to recognize the contributions of physicians and advanced practitioners who are dedicated to providing locum tenens medical coverage.

National Locum Tenens Week aims to become an annual platform for the healthcare staffing industry to recognize the role that locum tenens physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other medical professionals serve in the delivery of care in the US.
