Morales Group Inc. acquired northwest Indiana staffing firm Continental Inc. Professional Staffing and Recruitment.

Continental, based out of Anderson, Ind., was founded in 1985 by Bill and Judy Nagengast. It will rebrand under the Morales Group name and continue targeting the skilled trades, office, industrial and manufacturing industries.

Morales Group, a staffing provider founded in 2003, is headquartered in Indianapolis with additional offices in Columbus, Jeffersonville and Lafayette, Ind., as well as Louisville, Ky. The acquisition continues Morales Group’s regional growth and expands its service offerings in northern Indiana to include performance-based workforce solutions and workforce development initiatives. 

“This allows us to service a new market and vertical as a company,” said Morales Group CEO Tom Morales. “We are thrilled to offer more opportunities for our associates and the employers that we partner with.”

The deal closed Monday; terms of the transaction were not announced.
