Mondo names new CEO

October 21, 2016

Mondo, a provider of technology and marketing staffing, promoted Tim Johnson to CEO, effective immediately. Michael Kirven, the founder and former CEO, will now serve as chairman of the board.

Mondo has dual headquarters in New York City and Boston, and Johnson will be located in its Boston office. He has been with Mondo for more than 12 years and most recently was the VP of sales for Mondo since April 2013, when Mondo split from Bluewolf, a global business consulting firm. Before that, Johnson was the VP of sales and director of sales.

“As the worlds of IT and digital marketing continue to rapidly converge, we are uniquely positioned to help organizations meet their hiring needs with the most qualified professionals and contractors,” Johnson said. “I look forward to leading Mondo during this next phase of growth, as a leader in IT resourcing and digital marketing.”

Mondo's revenues are on track to increase from $6 million in 2005 to more than $90 million this year. It now counts 10 offices — including Los Angeles, Washington, Philadelphia, Denver, Chicago and Atlanta.
