September 29, 2021

Medical Solutions, one of the largest US healthcare staffing firms, named Jorge Taborga as chief technology officer.

Taborga previously was managing partner at Team Adaptability, a consultancy. Prior to that, he was executive VP of research and development at Omnicell. Also at Omnicell, he held the position of VP of manufacturing, quality and IT. In addition, Taborga teaches graduate-level technology management and leadership courses at Carnegie Mellon University and Presidio Graduate School.

He will oversee technology operations at Omaha, Nebraska-based Medical Solutions, including solutions architecture, applications development, analytics, project management office, security and infrastructure.

“As Medical Solutions expands at a rapid pace, through acquisition and organic growth, diversifies our service offerings, and increases market share, the continued investment in product innovation and development, infrastructure, and new technologies are priorities for us,” said Medical Solutions CEO Craig Meier, adding that continued investment in product innovation and development, infrastructure and new technologies are a priority.

“Jorge brings expansive knowledge and experience and is a highly respected and proven senior leader. I’m excited to welcome him to our team,” Meier said.

Medical Solutions was recently acquired by investment firms, according to an announcement in August.
