ManpowerGroup’s UK operations announced today that they have suspended their activity with the Confederation of British Industry, a lobbying group for industry in that country.

ManpowerGroup UK is one of several British companies that have resigned from the CBI following a number of sexual assault allegations made against the organization, Bloomberg reported. In one incident, a woman said she was raped during a CBI boat party on the River Thames.

“ManpowerGroup UK is deeply concerned with the serious allegations raised against the CBI and suspends all activity with the business lobby group effective immediately,” the company said in a statement. “As the investigation is ongoing, we will continue to monitor the situation and will review our membership accordingly.”
