ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN), the Milwaukee-based staffing giant, appointed Stefano Scabbio president of Northern Europe, Mediterranean and Eastern Europe, effective immediately. This expands his responsibilities to include Northern Europe along with his current leadership of the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe region.

Scabbio will continue to report to President and COO Darryl Green. Alain Roumilhac remains as president ManpowerGroup France, the company’s largest country business, also reporting to Green.

Former president of ManpowerGroup Northern Europe, Jilko Andringa, is taking a sabbatical and has stepped down from his current role, effective immediately.

“Stefano has been instrumental in accelerating growth and driving next generation innovation across our European business,” Green said. “Under his leadership, Stefano is enhancing and modernizing the experience for our candidates and clients, with speed, in a rapidly evolving digital market. Together in Europe, Stefano and Alain have exactly the right leadership skills to drive growth in our largest market, and I look forward to working with them both to grow our European business.”
