ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN) elected Julie Howard to its board of directors, effective Dec. 12. Howard is CEO and chairman of the board of Navigant Consulting Inc. (NYSE: NCI).

Howard joined Navigant in 1998. Prior to becoming CEO in March 2012, she served as president beginning in 2006 and COO beginning in 2003.She is member of the board of directors for InnerWorkings Inc. and a past member of Kemper’s board. Howard also serves on the Medical Center board of Lurie Children’s Hospital, and is a member of the Council of Economic Advisors for Cook County, the Economic Club and the Commercial Club of Chicago.
