Malone Workforce Solutions to acquire OmniSource Staffing

March 15, 2017

Malone Workforce Solutions agreed to acquire OmniSource Staffing. The transaction, which is expected to close by the end of March, is subject to customary closing conditions. Terms were not disclosed.

Both firms target the light industrial staffing sector. OmniSource Staffing will rebrand to Malone Workforce Solutions and headquarters for the offices being acquired will be managed through the Malone Headquarters in Louisville, Ky.

“We are excited to be able to purchase such a solid existing staffing business and look forward to growing our business nationally with this addition,” said Malone co-owner Terry Malone. “Malone is performing well and this acquisition will only improve the overall health of our company.”

OmniSource Staffing counts approximately $20 million in annual revenue and places more than 700 temporary employees through 11 offices. The addition of OmniSource will increase Malone Workforce Solutions’ estimated annual revenue to more than $170 million. It will increase Malone locations to 47 offices throughout 14 states and servicing clients in more than 40 states.

Malone in August acquired Nextaff LLC, a franchise-model staffing agency based in Kansas City. It is actively pursuing additional acquisitions as part of its growth plan, targeting light industrial, healthcare and IT opportunities.
