MBO Partners names two execs as senior VP and CFO

December 12, 2017

MBO Partners, a provider of independent contractor engagement solutions, named Linda Mann as a senior VP and Chris Mack as CFO. Both appointments took effect in early November.

Mann will lead a newly-formed business unit targeting MBO’s direct-to-talent offerings and expand its enterprise direct sourcing program. Mann most recently was a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers for seven years. She oversaw the design, development, and launch of the PwC Talent Exchange, a marketplace that connects independent talent with PwC work opportunities. Previously, Mann spent 15 years as a management consultant.

MBO’s first CFO, Mack most recently was president, COO and CFO for nine years at Apptix, a cloud services provider. He previously held several senior executive roles within the healthcare and software industries. Mack brings international expertise to MBO, including work in Europe, India and the Pacific Rim.

“Both of these executives add tremendous value to our leadership team, and their energy and vision will help MBO provide an even greater level of support for the independent workforce,” said Gene Zaino, CEO of MBO Partners.

MBO provides contractor management services including a freelancer management system. It also provides back-office services for independent consultants. Private equity firm Primus Capital made a minority investment in the firm earlier this year.
