General Motors in recent weeks reportedly told human cloud firm Lyft that it was interested in acquiring the company, reports The Information, a Silicon Valley website. After soliciting other potential strategic acquirers, Lyft rebuffed GM’s approach and decided to raise a new funding round instead, according to its sources. USA Today reported both General Motors and Lyft are declining to comment on the report.
