Luttrell Staffing Group announced today it acquired Sierra Employment Services Inc., a staffing provider with operations in eastern California.

The move enables Luttrell to expand its client base and venture into new markets, according to the company.

Founded in 2002, Sierra Employment Services has two offices — one each in Mammoth Lakes and Bishop, California. It previously operated under the name Mammoth Employment Services.

Luttrell is based in Kingsport, Tennessee. It provides industrial and office/clerical staffing through 40 offices in seven states: Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, California and Vermont.

Update: Sierra Employment Services provides construction, clerical, hospitality and other staffing. Plans call for the Sierra Employment brand to remain at this time. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
