Lexitas, a provider of litigation support services, acquired Yorkson Legal, a legal and compliance staffing provider based in New York.

“This acquisition is an important continuation of our strategic expansion plans in the legal staffing industry,” Lexitas CEO Gary Buckland said. “Yorkson will allow us to increase our service offerings to leading law firms and corporate legal departments nationwide.”

Yorkson Legal was founded by Michael and Gail Reichwald in 2003.

“This new chapter in our growth will allow us to build our staffing and recruiting firm on a larger platform while continuing to provide top-notch personal service to our clients and candidates,” Yorkson Legal President Michael Reichwald said.

Lexitas was founded in 1987 and is based in Houston.
